DIY

So I am not a very crafty person...but I am trying to cut costs by tackling little projects...

Table Numbers

So I was shopping for a bridal shower gift at Kohls and came across these awesome pink frames (they are listed as purple in the store) they were 10.99 but half off!! So I bought 15 of them! I then used My digital studio to digitally stamp the background, added a pea font that I downloaded (click on pea to download some cute/fun cursive fonts) and wrote "and they lived happily ever after" under each number...I know kind of cheesy but I thought it was cute haha

Toss Bouquet

Cheap and EASY! I found flowers (peonies and Roses) on sale at Joann Fabrics. It cost me $10 dollars to make, not too bad!

Favor Cards

In Lieu of favors we donated to two charities: the rescue we got out lab mix puppy from, and the other where we adopted our kitten from. We made cards that will look like the ones below from MOO inc. The idea came from HERE

Guest Book

So its not really DIY, but I didn't know where else to put it. We bought a wedding tree from Etsy Seller lovliday and guests will "LEAF" there thumbprint and sign the wedding tree...then we will be able to hang it up somewhere instead of putting it away and probably never looking at it again!

Cardbox

I bought fabric  and hat box at Joanns fabric and found a bouquet buckle and ribbon on clearance there. Plus I had coupons so it was a pretty cheap project and didn't take to long. I covered the box with satin pink fabric and used adhesive spray to make it stick. I put the ribbon on the top so that no one would be able to see the puckering of the fabric and so that no one could easily take it apart. The little indent in the front is actually from the buckle not the fabric below it. But it looks better in person.
